PROFESSIONALISM GUARANTEED

ISO 9001:2015

The first Quality Management System certification was obtained on December 22, 1994, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9002:1994 standard. The implementation of new processes and developments in industry regulations have led the current Quality Management System to comply with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, with the following scopes:
Production and heat treatment of magnetic laminations for electric motors and transformers for industrial and automotive applications. Production of assembled stators and die-cast rotors for electric motors. Design and construction of molds for blanking magnetic laminations. Die-casting of aluminum and alloy components.

The purpose of the management system is to:

  • Define, verify, and periodically review the System’s objectives and targets, adapting them to both changing legislation and customer requirements, with a view to continuously improving product quality standards.
  • Identify customer needs and all factors that can ensure customer satisfaction with product quality performance.
  • The continuous annual certificate renewals, obtained following stringent checks by the certification body, represent a guarantee for our customers in terms of the quality and reliability of our product.

UNI EN ISO 14001:2015

The Environmental Management System certification was obtained on January 17, 2007, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 (ISO 14001:2015) standard. With this certification, Sitem s.p.a. commits to:

  • Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations in the relevant sector.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis to select environmentally reliable suppliers with whom to establish long-term relationships.

The purpose of the management system is to:

  • Ensure the use of innovative technologies to ensure proper waste management and prevent, where economically acceptable and technically feasible, environmental impacts by pursuing continuous performance improvement.
  • The General Management is committed to taking an active role in promoting and guiding all activities impacting the environment. The continuous annual renewals of the certificate, obtained following stringent audits by the certification body, represent a guarantee for our clients of the reliability of our organization.

ISO 45001

Certification, in accordance with the ISO 45001 specification, was obtained on July 14, 2014, and is extended to all Italian sites: Trevi (PG), Canegrate (MI), and Limbiate (MB). Compliance with the international standard OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Specification) ensures that Sitem SpA complies with the requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and allows for better risk assessment and improved performance.

The purpose of the management system is to:

  • The ISO 45001 standard aims to systematically monitor, understand, and raise awareness of all potential risks inherent in normal and extraordinary workplace operations. ISO 45001 certification focuses on occupational health and safety management and commits Sitem SpA to continuous improvement, thus providing all stakeholders with the assurance of compliance with the specified safety policies.

IATF 16949:2016

The IATF 16949:2016 standard replaces the old ISO/TS 16949 specification [certification obtained on September 14, 2012], representing the revised quality management system for the automotive industry and developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF).

With IATF 16949:2016, together with ISO 9001:2015, Sitem SpA has defined the management system requirements for the quality, development, and production of products related to the automotive sector [“Manufacture of Assembled Magnetic Parts For Electric Motors”]. This certification, in addition to allowing Sitem SpA to enter the automotive sector in a structured manner, guarantees highly efficient production processes and high-quality products supplied to its customers.

    ORGANIZATIONAL MODEL AND CODE OF ETHICS

    In order to ensure, to the extent possible, the prevention of the commission of the crimes contemplated by Legislative Decree 231/2001 (as supplemented and amended), the Board of Directors of Sitem Spa has adopted an organizational model pursuant to and for the purposes of Legislative Decree 231/2001. This Model, among other things, includes and regulates: Sitem Spa’s Code of Ethics, the Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001, the disciplinary system for Sitem Spa’s employees, collaborators, and partners, and the integration of the Quality, Environment, and Safety management system. Specifically, the Code of Ethics contains the principles that must be adhered to by employees, managers, directors, contractors, collaborators, suppliers, customers, and, in general, all those who come into contact with Sitem Spa.
